About
Description
Vault Limbo turns every Trial Chamber vault into a mini-game inspired by the famous key-shuffle section of the Geometry Dash level LIMBO.
When you open a vault with its key, the loot isn't handed over right away. Instead, 8 keys appear floating in front of the vault and shuffle around — and you have to keep your eye on the right one.
How it works
- Right-click a vault with its key (a normal Trial Key for a normal vault, an Ominous Trial Key for an ominous one). Your key is consumed — one attempt.
- The keys line up in a 4×2 grid. The correct key briefly flashes / grows, so memorize its position.
- The keys then shuffle through 26 consecutive moves, recreating the real LIMBO patterns: 2×2 block rotations, column swaps, X-diagonal swaps, O-shape rotations, top/bottom exchanges and more. The keys slide between cells and their paths cross, so you really have to track yours.
- When the keys settle, click the key you were following, right there in the world.
- Right key → you get the vault's own loot (fully vanilla — normal or ominous). Wrong key → nothing, and your key is spent.
Features
- Works on both normal and ominous vaults, dropping their real vanilla loot.
- Faithful recreation of the LIMBO shuffle patterns and paths.
- 5 speed presets and an in-game config screen via Mod Menu (bundled — no extra download needed): shuffle speed, reveal time, grid size, height and offset.
- Server-authoritative: the outcome is decided on the server, so it's safe in multiplayer.
