Veil Bonk

This mod was born out of a necessity & frustration: Veil seems to have had no active development in the past 6 months despite many very grave issues being active & also already having a proposed solution in the form of a pull request. These issues affect many mods out there.

What this mod does is simply implementing those Pull Requests and fixes in the form of mixins to veil

Bugs fixed:

  • FoundryMC/Veil#211 necromancer entities always rendered with the red hurt tint
  • FoundryMC/Veil#188 FramebufferStack popped the wrong framebuffer when more than one was pushed
  • FoundryMC/Veil#134 other mods' core shaders got rewritten with ternaries missing their brackets, so (c ? a : b) * x turned into (c ? a : b * x)
  • FoundryMC/Veil#141 rendering the Level into a RenderTarget sometimes came out blank when veil lights were around
  • FoundryMC/Veil#204 first person hand and held item went missing on Intel GPUs when another mod enabled the stencil on main target or on any GPU when a veil light was around (FoundryMC/Veil#208)
  • FoundryMC/Veil#213 with an Iris shaderpack active, veil shaders drew into the wrong copy of colortex0 and left Iris's framebuffer bound. Ported from PR 213
  • FoundryMC/Veil#214 boolean uniforms in Iris shaderpacks filled the log with "Unsupported Uniform Type" on every reload. Ported from PR 214
