Veilcraft

Veilcraft is a Minecraft mod that adds a lot of terrifying mobs to the game. It also adds a lot of weapons and tools. The mobs and objects in this mod are fully described as follows: -

1. Noctivagant Wraith

The noctivagant wraith is a flying ghost. It targets players, villagers, and other humans. It will enter your body and take control of you when it attacks. It will eventually consume your soul from within your body. They will enter your body through any physical contact, so you cannot attack them. Crucifixion is the only way to defeat them. A master cleric will take 20 emeralds in exchange for the crucifix. To get the crucified effect for a while, simply right-click while holding the crucifix if you have one. Any noctivagant wraith inside your body would instantly perish under this effect, and no more noctivagant wraith could enter your body. However, it will then attempt to assault your physical body. You can now attack noctivagant wraiths because they are vulnerable due to the crucified effect. Simply right-clicking someone who has been possessed by a noctivagant wraith with the crucifix will also cause them to appear crucified. The crucifix will vanish from your grasp after you have used it. Upon death, it will drop phosmic essence, which can either be traded with a shadow expert or can be used to craft the potion of phosmic flight.

2. Bob the killer

Bob the killer is a mysterious person. No one knows for sure if he is even a human. There are many mysterious things you can find inside his house. There are many clones of him throughout the world. While exploring the world, you may find Bob's house. If you are unlucky enough, you may find him there. Bob the killer uses a special weapon for attacking. The weapon is so sharp that it causes bleeding when it hits someone. He has a chance of dropping that weapon upon his death. No one knows for sure why he kills. No one knows the lore behind him.

3. Necroverm & Necroblaster

The larval stage of Necroblaster is called Necroverm. Zombies are the target of this parasitic worm. It will bury itself inside its host once it has found him. The host's head will eventually develop a parasitic cap that shields it from the sun. Within the host's body, it will procreate parthenogenetically. It will eventually kill the host and release a large number of necroverms. Some of them will then be ready to mature and turn into pupae. Eventually, the pupae will hatch, and the necroverm will successfully develop into the Necroblaster adult stage. A fierce predator, the necroblaster will pursue any animal or person it comes across. It is known as a necroblaster because, just before it dies, chemical reactions within its body will result in an explosion. Upon death it has a chance to drop its leather if the leather survives the explosion.

4. Osteoverm & Osteodon

Osteoverms are similar to necroverms, but they target skeletons instead of zombies. When an osteoverm has spent enough time inside its host's body, it will turn into its adult stage, the osteodon. The Osteodon is an aggressive predator that will attack any animal or human in its sight. An osteodon's teeth are so sharp that its prey will start to bleed when it is attacked. Upon death, it will drop one of its teeth, which can be used to craft a spear. It can also be thrown.

5. Osteo-Necro Mess

If an osteoverm locates a necroverm pupae, the creature that comes out would have characteristics of both necroblaster and osteodon.

6. Mysterious Shadow

It is a tall, black, humanoid creature with glowing eyes. Nobody really understands what it is. It is visible in dimly lit areas. You will become corrupted if you approach it, and shadow fragments will be dropped to the ground. You can use the shadow fragment to make the shadow effect potion or trade with the shadow expert if you are strong enough to withstand corruption. You will acquire the same abilities as this entity if you consume the potion of shadow effect. The same effect that the enigmatic shadow gives you when you are near it can be applied to a mob if you strike them while this effect is going on. When a mob other than the player attacks this entity, it will drag it to the shadow realm.

7. Already Killed

It appears to be an undead creature that was brutally murdered. It will pursue animals, villagers, and the player. It will lose its lower body and start to crawl with its arms after sustaining enough damage.

8. Shadow Guard

It is typically found protecting the shadow expert inside his home. Any hostile creature it comes across will be attacked. They will be pulled into the shadow realm by it. The player cannot harm it in any way. Every shadow guard in the area will try to find you if you attack the shadow expert.

9. Unknown Entity

Nobody knows what this is, as the name implies. It tracks down and hunts the player from a great distance while being incredibly silent. No one will know how you passed away if it kills you. It cannot be outrun or harmed.

10. Umbroverm

It is another parasitic worm that finds endermen as hosts. When it buries into an enderman, it will increase its stats. It will also cause the enderman to attack hostile entities. Eventually, the enderman and the Umbroverm symbiote will turn into a shadow guard.

11. Shadow Expert

A shadow expert is a villager who knows a lot about shadows. Somewhere in the overworld, there is a house where he resides. Inside his home, he is accompanied by three shadow guards. He typically offers trades pertaining to shadows. He will be able to trade the soul staff and the shadow wand, two potent weapons, once he reaches the master level. The shadow wand can be used to turn into a shadow for 30 seconds by right-clicking on it. Additionally, the soul staff is a ranged weapon that causes its owner to steal the souls of their target.
