Description

Four mutations grow while you play normal Minecraft. Darkness feeds Pupil, bare fists feed Bone, quiet kills in the dark feed Shadow, raw meat and skipping sleep feed Flesh. You take one rank at a time. Five is the last. Higher ranks hit harder, and they start charging you for it.

K opens the screen. Four bars.
• Pupil, V, from rank II. The dark opens up. From rank III the sun cuts.
• Bone, G, from rank II. A slam, same in a cave or outside. It has to rest a few seconds, and the hands shake after.
• Shadow, C, from rank II. Quieter steps, and about five seconds where you are almost gone, until light finds you.
• Flesh, no key. Raw meat and staying awake. Later the body closes its own wounds, and cooked food sits wrong.
Vein experience is its own pool. You pour it on that screen. Normal experience still goes to enchanting and the anvil.

• If Bone drops under II, the slam stays quiet until that rank is back.
• Two veins at IV start clashing. Now and then that is nausea and exhaustion.
• An Echo Ampoule takes off the rank you pick. Put it in the square on the right of the K screen, or leave it in your inventory and press Drain.
• Craft: two echo shards, a glass bottle, a golden apple. Using it costs 3 levels or 40 vein experience.

What key opens the veins?
K.
When do V, G and C start working?
From rank II of that vein. Before that they do nothing.
Why didn't the slam happen?
It skips itself in water, behind a shield, while it is cooling down, or when you are too hungry. It also leaves tamed animals alone.
Is this the mod that mines a whole ore vein?
No. This one changes the player: eyes, a punch, a step, hunger.
Does this replace normal experience?
No. Vein experience is poured on the K screen. Enchanting and the anvil still use normal experience.
Do I need /vein to play?
No. That command is for operators. It shows ranks, the pool and the mode.
Can I use this in a modpack?
Yes. Credit Fully_Rupper.
Does a server need it too?
Yes, if other people are joining. Singleplayer only needs the jar on your side.

Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1. Fabric Loader and Fabric API. Java 21, which is what this version of the game runs on. Singleplayer only needs the jar on your side. A server needs it on the server and on the players.
