Data-driven custom plants for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge

Verdancy is a plant framework mod that lets you add custom plants and special crops through JSON configs, while automatically handling registration and startup-time generation of the supporting assets and data.

Create custom flora without the boilerplate.

Features

• Custom crops
• Ground, tall, bush, floating, submerged, and emergent plants
• Special crops such as surface crops and gourd crops
• Runtime-generated assets, loot, recipes, and worldgen
• Simple JSON-based content creation

How It Works

  1. Create a JSON definition

  2. Place it in the Verdancy config folder

  3. Launch the game

  4. Verdancy registers the content and generates what it needs automatically
