Verdant Shell Edition

Verdant Shell Edition is data-resource-pack based off of Matcha Flavoured 1.12. The goal of this datapack is to overhaul the game progression to be more rewarding while also making several changes to core gameplay mechanics in order to be less frustrating, less dependant on rng to progress and to make the game more challenging by making the selected game difficulty more meaningful.

Differrences compared to Matcha Flavoured

• Most blocks will now use the vanilla minecraft textures instead!
• Updated textures for many items.
• Added new items and a new structure!
• Reverted several core gameplay changes.
  • (deaths are once again punishing, day/night cycles are back to normal, beds no longer speed up time, ...)
  • Rebalanced many items and made several items sand out more
  • Rebalanced all villager trades!
  • Made some tweaks with how the tooltips look for a majority of items.
  • Fixed many bugs.

Installation

Same as Matcha Flavoured, you place the same file in both the datapack and resourcepack locations.
