Verox' RPG Runestones

📖 About:

Verox' RPG Runestones brings ancient waystones to your world - floating crystals, circled by eight rune tablets and a spinning stone frame, that link every corner of the map. Awaken them, name them, and travel between them together with your friends, your pets and your familiars inside a shimmering bubble of rune magic.

It is part of the Verox' RPG series, built to play alongside Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks - and works perfectly as a standalone mod.

Mod Features

• Living Runestones: Until you touch a runestone, its tablets and frame lie scattered on the ground. Your first touch awakens it - the pieces rise, the crystal lifts and the ring begins to turn. Every player awakens their own runestones, so each stone sleeps until you have found it.
• The Runic Ring: Right-click a runestone and a ring of eight floating stones appears. Each one is a destination with its initials carved in light blue - hover to see its name, distance and cost, click to travel.
• The Teleport Bubble: The tablets and frame fly out and trace a sphere of rune light around the runestone. Everyone inside travels with you - friends, pets, horses, villagers and familiars. Enemies and strangers stay behind.
• Friends: Add friends right from the ring - with player heads, online status and friend requests. Only friends join your bubble.
• Soul Anchor: Wear it as a charm and your friends can travel straight to you.
• Rune Tablet: A portable runestone. Teleports you instantly from anywhere - alone, at a higher price and with a cooldown.
• Global Runestones: Admins can mark runestones as global - perfect for spawn hubs and server towns. Every player can travel there right away, and they glow purple in the ring.
• Your Order, Your Way: Hold Shift and drag stones around the ring to sort your destinations.
• Protected: Only the owner can break their runestone, and explosions can't destroy it.
• Village Runestones: Runestones generating in villages, with support for village mods.

Travel Has a Price

Every teleport costs Rune Dust, crushed from amethyst shards - more for longer distances and other dimensions. Prefer experience levels or free travel? Switch it in the config.
