***IMPORTANT***
This mod will no longer be updated due to complications which involved me losing the entire project due to corrupted files! (and also taking a break from minecraft modding)
I will be releasing a new version of this mod soon for Fabric! It will include many of the items featured in this mod.
About
This mod is all about adding new weapons, foods and enchantments to the world of Minecraft to allow players more choice when it comes to combat. This mod was developed with Vanilla style and balancing so that it didn't feel out of place or too broken/overpowered.
As of this current version the mod adds:
- 3 New Melee Weapons
- 23 New Enchantments
- 3 New Items (Scrolls)
- & 1 New Food Item
Weapons
The Scythe
"A farming tool turned deadly..."
The Scythe is one of the three new weapons added with this mod. The Scythe is crafted using the Smithing Table and a Weapon Scroll. Example shown below:

The Scythe deals moderate damage to all entities but is especially efficient against Zombies & Skeletons thanks to its +2 Undead Bonus Damage. Scythes are the only weapons which support Imbue Charms, Find Charms in Various Structures around your world. The Scythe also comes with 2 Unique Enchantments:
- Deathblow - Supported Levels ( I, II , III) - Small chance to instantly kill target once below 40% max health
- Reaping - Supported Levels ( I, II, III) - Gain more experience from killing undead mobs
The Greatsword
"Greatest weapon of them all, used in battles past..."
The Greatsword is the second of the three weapons, It deals massive amounts of damage to all entities but is especially good at taking down armoured targets with its +3 Anti-Armor Bonus Dmaage and Increased Durability Damage against target armor. The Greatsword is crafted using the Smithing Table and a Weapon Scroll. Example shown below:

The Greatsword comes with 2 Unique Enchantments:
- Impact - Supported Levels ( I, II, III) - Deal greater knockback the less health you have
- Shattering Strike - Supported Levels ( I, II, III, IV) - Chance to deal additional damage to armored targets
The Glaive
"A polearm which will sweep you off your feet.. literally..."
The Glaive is the last of the three weapons, It boasts the greatest melee range out of the three weapons and has a larger sweeping attack making it better against groups of enemies. The Glaive is crafted using the Smithing Table and a Weapon Scroll. Example shown below:

The Glaive unlike the other two, only comes with 1 Unique Enchantment:
- Whirlwind - Supported Levels ( I, II) - Chance to launch target up into the air
Miscellaneous
As mentioned above the mod also comes with other items, here is a list of them with a short breakdown of what they do:
Pears
A new food item found by breaking/decaying Birch Leaves. Eat it to gain similar hunger stats to the Apple or use it in a crafting table with gold ingots to craft Golden Pears which give great effects like Speed & Haste. You will also now be able to craft Enchanted Apples and Pears, I Added this in mainly because in later stages of the game when everyone has very strong weapons, even the best armour won't protect you for long...
Crafting Recipes:

Weapon Scrolls
These Scrolls are an essential part of being able to craft the new weapons, find them around the world in certain structures (New Custom Structures coming in an update eventually)
Loot Table Chances:
Scythe Weapon Scroll - 45% Chance From Simple Dungeons & 32.5% Chance From Ancient Cities
Greatsword Weapon Scroll - 75% Chance From Pillager Outpost Chests & 25% Drop Rate From Ravagers
Glaive Weapon Scroll - 55% Chance From Desert Pyramids & Small Chance From Archeology
