A Catholic Christian devotional goldsmithing mod for Minecraft.

Via Aurea invites you to begin humbly: shape a simple Tau Cross, prepare Daily Bread, and learn the patient work of a goldsmith. Its jewelry and devotional craft are designed around restrained, protective gameplay—not occultism, curses, or demonic themes.

CURRENT RELEASE — 0.5.0

• Craft the Franciscan-inspired Tau Cross and prepare Daily Bread once per Minecraft day.
• Build a Goldsmith's Bench and progress through real small-scale jewelry stages: plate, strip, wire, shank, bezel, cut gem, setting, and ring.
• Assemble the Tau Cross Necklace, Gilded Tau, Cross of Steadfastness, Emerald Ring, and Ring of the Pilgrim.
• Wear necklaces and rings through Curios; effects are modest, protective, and deliberately grounded.
• Use the Devotional Workstation to complete the first devotional jewelry path.
• Receive the in-game Goldsmith's Diary on your first login. It explains the craft and shows the workstation grids directly in the book.

THE HEART OF VIA AUREA

This is a Catholic Christian mod created to make room for a different kind of Minecraft progression: craftsmanship, gratitude, protection, and prayerful reflection. Scripture quotations are used sparingly and meaningfully as the player's prayerful response to a crafted item—not as spells. The Goldsmith's Diary is dedicated to the memory of the author's mother, whose artistry and devotion inspired this work.

GETTING STARTED

1. Craft a Tau Cross from sticks.
2. Keep it close while preparing Daily Bread.
3. Read the Goldsmith's Diary, then build the Goldsmith's Bench.
4. Form your first jewelry components and bring finished pieces to the Devotional Workstation.
