About

Description

This mod replaces Minecraft's food mechanic with a Valheim inspired system.  Hold three meals in your belly at a time, with the quality of them affecting your health and stamina!

Perilous start

Start with only three hearts and a small stamina bar.  Eat food quickly to better your odds.  You can no longer starve but are very vulnerable running on empty.

Hearty meals

Generally, meat based meals give more hearts, while vegetable based gives more stamina.  Complex dishes (stews and soups) provide long lasting fullness.  Balance your diet with your needs.

Sugar rush

Having a high stamina diet will eventually give you a speed boost.  For example, honey bottles provide no hearts but 10 points of stamina, combined with other stamina foods will increase your movement speed.

Poisonous potato

If you want to get rid of junk food before you are hungry again, eat a poisonous potato to empty your stomach to start from scratch.

Take a knee

Difficulty is generally higher, and regeneration is paused when taking damage.  However if you need to heal quicker, find a safe spot and "take a knee", sneaking improves health and stamina regeneration.
