Description

Create: Villager Tourism (Unofficial NeoForge Port)

This project is an unofficial NeoForge port of Create: Villager Tourism. All credit for the original mod belongs to its original author. Original Mod

Overview

Tourists spawn from the Tourist block placed outside a village house. They will automatically board nearby Create trains (as long as enough seats are available). Your goal is to take them on memorable journeys across your world.

For every unique structure visited during a tour, tourists earn points. You can verify that your railway passes through a structure using the Camera item (crafted with a Glass Block, Glowstone Dust, and an Iron Ingot). The relevant chunks must remain loaded while the train travels.

Additional points are awarded for transporting tourists 1,000 and 2,000 blocks away from their home village (measured in a straight line).

After safely returning tourists to their home village, they disappear and deposit their earned points into the Bureau block. Interact with the Bureau to view the stored points and lifetime total. Shift-right-click the Bureau to convert all stored points into emeralds.

NeoForge Port Improvements

This port includes additional improvements and changes:

  • Added support for different village types
  • Added wealthy villagers who provide 2x rewards
  • Improved tourist intelligence and behavior
  • Full NeoForge compatibility

Notes

While the mod is designed around Create trains, tourists will also attempt to use other available transportation, such as minecarts and boats, if no Create train is nearby.Im already working on it to make it better. You find me also on Github as Felixstro-dev or on Discord. My Discord Username is Felixstro.
