Yet Another Ancient-Debris-But-in-The-End material!

Void Metal is material used to upgrade Netherite Items to a more powerful variant. It is directly inspired by Voidmetal from Thaumcraft 4. That means it has all* the properties of Voidmetal from TC4, such as:

• Unbreakable
• Apply Weakness I for 5 seconds on hit
• Sap life and heal yourself when hitting with a Voidmetal Sword

*warping effects are not included

Properties are slightly above Netherite tier, except enchantability, which is comparable to Gold Items.

Obtaining

Use Void Metal Ingot and a Voidmetal Upgrade Smithing Template along with a Netherite item of choice in a Smithing Table and you've got youself a fancy new gear.

You can find the required Smithing Template with a small chance in End City chests. You can also duplicate existing templates in the same way as Vanilla Smithing Templates.

The Ingot itself is obtained from Voidmetal Nuggets, which drop from Void Metal Ore.

The Ore can be found somewhat commonly in a thin slice between Y: -16 and Y: 24 in The End dimension, meaning in vanilla generation they can be found right under the End Islands, including the main island. I will let you discover how to get there! (A Happy Ghast perhaps?)

Since Voidmetal items are unbreakable, if your source item happens to have Mending or Unbreaking enchantments of any level, you will get them back in a form of Enchanted Book on craft.
