Vonix Server Utilities (VSU)

A complete server-side essentials mod for Minecraft servers.

Vonix Server Utilities combines homes, warps, teleportation, kits, social commands, administration tools, moderation, and optional Venary integration in one configurable server-side mod.

Players do not need to install VSU on their clients.

Homes and Teleportation

Command Description
/sethome <name> Save a personal home
/home <name> Teleport to a personal home
/delhome <name> Delete a personal home
/homes List your available homes
/setwarp <name> Create a server warp
/warp <name> Teleport to a server warp
/delwarp <name> Delete a server warp
/warps List available server warps
/setspawn Set the server spawn location
/spawn Teleport to the server spawn
/back Return to your previous teleport location
/backdeath Return to your recorded death location
/tpa <player> Request to teleport to another player
/tpahere <player> Request another player to teleport to you
/tpaccept Accept a teleport request
/tpdeny Deny a teleport request

/back and /backdeath are separate systems. Normal teleport history is kept independent from recorded death locations.

Moderation

Punishments are stored persistently and support duration formats such as 30m, 7d, and 2w.

Download the artifact matching both your Minecraft version and loader.

Installation

  1. Download the VSU JAR for your Minecraft version and loader.
  2. Place the JAR in the server's mods/ folder.
  3. Start the server once to generate the configuration and database.
  4. Configure permissions, limits, cooldowns, and optional integrations.
  5. Restart the server or reload supported features.

VSU is server-side only. Players do not need to install the mod on their clients.

Configuration

VSU generates:

config/vonix_server_utilities.properties

Common settings include:

max_homes 5 Maximum personal homes per player
tpa_timeout_seconds 120 Time before a teleport request expires
death_back_delay_seconds 0 Optional delay before death-location return is available

Feature groups can be enabled or disabled without uninstalling the mod.

Permissions

VSU provides LuckPerms-compatible vsu.* permission nodes for command-level control.

If LuckPerms is not installed, VSU falls back to vanilla operator permission levels.

Storage

VSU stores server data using SQLite, including:

  • Homes
  • Warps
  • Teleport history
  • Death-location history
  • Kits
  • Moderation records
  • Player-related utility data

V2 Common Rewrite

The 2.0.0 rewrite keeps shared VSU behavior centralized while providing dedicated version and loader integrations for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge.
