War of Valor: The Original WW1 Minecraft Mod

Throughout the World in 1914-1918, a historical event has changed the face of the entire world... 

War of Valor is a World War One Minecraft mod that is dedicated to bringing the events of the Great War right to your screen in the award-winning game, Minecraft.

Play as a soldier, and run across no-man's-land, or a biplane Ace, collecting his 25th kill. 

In War of Valor, you can do these things, and relive the historic times of the world's first world war. 

Different game modes to suit your own preferences, be it attacking, defending, or even K.O.T.H. or all-out war.

This Mod Consists of:

-Weapons modeled to depict the brutality of the war

-New building blocks

-Awesome pixel art

-Uniforms of the nations that fought one another 

-Fun Maps and recreations of the battles that took place

-Explosives 

-New community!

Still a WIP.

War of Valor is a WW1 (World War One/First World War) Mod that aims to bring WW1 into the much beloved game: Minecraft. It has been a personal project and personal challenge for me to bring this theme to the minecraft modding community, as WWI mods are few and extremely far between to find these days. Mod made for history buffs, people who like World War One, war builders, or the WWI curious. We hope that you have a funtime playing this mod.

This mod strives to recreate the First World War in your minecraft world and/or servers. With various blocks and items made to fit WWI's historical era.

Key items this mod seeks to add:

• 3-D wepons and nation's uniforms
• Current Uniforms added: British and German Early War 3D uniforms. Along With Steel Helmets.
• Current Working Rifles: Gewehr 1898 and SMLE. (Sidearm and other rifle models working coming soon!)
• Reload animations for various ww1 era firearms
• A ton of WW1 appropriate custom blocks.
• And maybe later additions such as the Russian Civil War.
• New Brick and stone types for various buildings during the war (for building/maps).
• Trench walls, sandbags, and the well known barbed wire.
• Mud and dirt slabs for landscape/noman's land.
• Mortar props for trench defense/decoration.
• Works on both servers and singleplayer worlds. (All players would need the mod to join a server.)
• Much More and will definetely add more.

Babed wire that does damage.

(Image below) It works like vanilla cobwebs and cactus. (Slows you down and does damage to you).
