WaterCrits Mod & Plugin v1.0.0 WaterCrits completely overhauls how combat works in water. In vanilla Minecraft, players are prevented from landing critical hits while swimming or submerged. This project reverses that logic: only critical hits apply in water, and normal/sweep attacks are completely blocked.

This release includes both a Server Plugin (for Spigot/Paper) and a Fabric Mod (for client/server).

Features Re-Enabled Water Crits: Jump/fall in water to land critical hits with the standard 1.5x damage multiplier and magic crit particles. Blocked Normal Hits: Normal melee attacks will be silently cancelled while submerged or touching water, displaying a configurable warning message. Blocked Sweep Attacks: AoE (Area of Effect) sweep damage is completely disabled while the attacker is in water. Fully Configurable: Easily tweak cooldown thresholds, toggle blocks, and customize action-bar/chat messages in the generated config file. Cross-Version Support: The Paper/Spigot plugin dynamically adapts to support legacy versions.
