About

Description

This mod is fairly basic, and is 100% logistics. It does not edit any AI factors of zombies, or add any new mobs, but overrides their normal targeting system and brutally targets players, capable of bridging, mining, and ambushing in large groups.

This mod is easy to edit, and I can release many versions if desired, super difficult ones and super easy ones.
zombies behave by default behaviors unless within the effect range of 64 blocks, where they are overridden and begin to exhibit the more sophisticated behavior. This is for lag prevention and to make the algorithm simpler.

The algorithm enables many featurs, heres a list:
- Mining -
Zombies can mine through natural blocks to get to the player, horizontally at a horizontal range of 64, and vertically at a horizontal range of 6 blocks. Y is only important for the determination of vertical travel.
- Xray -
Zombies always know where the player is, and logic is in place to allow them to target players in multiple     fashions, including the standard targeting (aggro) and targeting nearby blocks if close enough, (visual)
- Better Reinforcements -
Default Zombies during the day only gain the ability to mine and build, though at night,
they get a little riled up, and spawn overpowered reinforcements, these can have up to diamond tier armor,        tools, and fairly overkill potion effects, but despawn when it turns day, and since they spawn these                        reinforments as duplicates with buffs, they multiply FAST, so to rebalance them, helmets do not protect them in
daylight.
- Strafing -
They just strafe, unintended feature honestly.
- Advanced pathfinding -
They can find a path up to 50 blocks long with WAY TOO MUCH LENIANCY but they will prefer to tower if you're high up (block of choice when building is dirt so it may get ugly FAST).

This mod was based on a video that circulated for a while on the internet, where a player was mining, heard blocks breaking rapidly, and then had the cave they were in flooded by netherite weilding zombies (i think they were zombies) and they proceeded to fight back using modded guns. (keep in mind they were running too)
I saw the video, didnt see a mod name, so I made it myself.
These zombies are brutally quick, and will promply do the same thing found in that video, block breaking and all. just a little more freely.

THIS MOD IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT AND HAS MANY BUGS, it is functional but can be visually displeasing, and rather destructive in any world it is placed in. I recommend a backup of one's world before testing.
