Waxed Workstations
No reviews yet
Wax different POIs, like workstations and beds, making them unclaimable by villagers. Highly configurable.
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Used for mods with little to no gameplay elements.
Contains enhancements to village mechanics, expanding on existing features or adding entirely new ones.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

Description
Waxed Workstations
Have you ever been annoyed by villagers claiming unintended jobsite blocks or sleeping in your bed? I sure have been, and so I've created a mod to solve this issue. Now you can wax any workstations, like lecterns, smokers, looms and cauldrons! This mod does not add any new blocks, and is completely compatible with any modded POIs (points of interest).
Feel free to include this project in modpacks!
Requires Fabric API and MidnightLib (for config)
Although this mod was originally intended for the sole purpose of preventing villagers from claiming workstations, the code turned out to have far more additional uses. The mod is configurable, so you can tweak these to your own liking
Config
Waxing Workstations: True by default. Enable waxing modded and vanilla villager workstations. Waxed workstations can't be claimed by villagers.
Waxing Beds: True by default. Enable waxing modded and vanilla beds. Waxed beds can't be claimed/slept in by villagers.
Waxing Bells: True by default. Enable waxing bells. Waxed bells aren't recognized as a gathering spot by villagers.
Waxing Lodestones: False by default. Enable waxing lodestones. Waxed lodestones can't be found by compasses bound to them.
Waxing Beehives & Bee Nests: False by default. Enable waxing beehives and bee nests. Waxed beehives can't be used by bees (how ironic!).
Waxing Lightning Rods: False by default. Enable waxing lightning rods. Waxed lightning rods don't attract lightnings.
Waxing Nether Portals: False by default. Enable waxing nether portal blocks. Waxed nether portal blocks seem to disable chunk loading and also can't be recognized by other portals when linking. Potentially game-breaking, proceed with mild caution.
Waxing Other POIs: False by default. Enable waxing other modded POIs that do not fall under any previous categories. Potentially game-breaking, proceed with mild caution.
Waxing Consumes: 1 by default. How much durability (if possible) or items will be consumed when waxing.
Unwaxing Consumes: 1 by default. How much durability (if possible) or items will be consumed when unwaxing.
Waxing Items: minecraft:honeycomb by default. Items that can be used to wax POIs. To add an item tag, enter 'tag ' before the tag itself.
Unwaxing Items: tag minecraft:axes by default. Items that can be used to unwax POIs. To add an item tag, enter 'tag ' before the tag itself.
