Description
Weather2 Compatibility Bridge
Weather2 Compatibility Bridge is a lightweight utility mod that enables seamless compatibility between the Weather2 mod and other Minecraft mods that rely on rain detection.
By default, Weather2 replaces vanilla weather mechanics with its own dynamic weather system, which can lead to issues with mods that check for rain using the standard World#isRaining() or Entity#isInRain() method. This mod bridges that gap by syncing replacing the vannilla weather check with Weather2's raining check method, ensuring better interoperability across your modded setup.
🌧️ Features
- ✅ Allows machines, mobs, and other rain-dependent features to function correctly with Weather2
- ✅ Minimal performance impact and plug-and-play installation
- ✅ Compatible with probably all Minecraft Forge modpacks
🔧 Installation
- Simply install this mod alongside Weather2
💡 Fixes
- Mods that require rain to fill barrels or tanks
- Certain modded crops and plants that grow faster when it rains
- Machines or devices that activate only during rainfall
- Mob behavior that changes with rain conditions
🧩 Mod Compatibility
This mod helps improve compatibility with popular mods like:
- Insanity: Decent Into Madness
- And many more!
⚠️ Notes
- This mod does not add or modify any weather effects itself.
- It simply acts as a bridge between Weather2's weather states and the vanilla API.

This mod is open-source under the MIT License. Contributions welcome!
