Whaleborne Additions

A Forge addon mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that extends compatibility and quality-of-life features for the Whaleborne mod's Hullback entity.

This project adds practical functionality to Hullbacks without modifying the original Whaleborne mod directly, making it safer to update, easier to maintain, and fully compatible as a standalone addon.

New Features

Hullback Chest Widget

Adds a placeable chest widget for the Hullback that behaves like a proper onboard storage container. Unlike expanding the Hullback’s inventory directly, this allows multiple independent chests to be placed and keep their own inventory. The chest can hold a double chests' worth of items.

Can use any planks.

Movement Improvements (Coming Soon)

Improves Hullback mobility and handling, especially while tamed.

Includes

• Increased forward swim speed
• Improved turning responsiveness
• Better reverse/backward movement handling

I felt that Hullbacks were a huge pain to pilot, so these changes are intended to better reflect a useful and rewarding mob whilst preserving their scale and humongousness.
