Description
## 📶 WiFi Latency - FPS Limiter
This is a server-side and client-side utility mod that allows administrators to simulate "bad WiFi" by dynamically limiting players' FPS and displaying a network signal HUD.
Originally designed for Minecraft 26.3 (Fabric).
## ✨ Features
* **Admin Command:** `/wifi <player> <1~4>` (Requires OP level 3). Admin can instantly change a player's network status.
* **FPS Limiter Tiers:**
* **Level 1 (Red):** 5 FPS limit
* **Level 2 (Orange):** 20 FPS limit
* **Level 3 (Yellow):** 45 FPS limit
* **Level 4 (Green):** Unlimited FPS
* **Visual HUD:** A 4-bar signal indicator in the top-right corner (syncs with server). The lower the level, the more the icon shakes and turns red.
* **Audio & Chat Feedback:** Plays UI click sounds and sends Actionbar/System messages when a player's network level changes.
* **JSON Persistence:** Player levels are saved in `world/wifi_data.json`. Levels are automatically restored when a player rejoins.
## ⚙️ Installation & Requirements
* **Minecraft Version:** 26.3
* **Mod Loader:** Fabric
* **Fabric Loader:** 0.19.3 or higher
* **Fabric API:** Required
### 🖥️ Server-Side vs. Client-Side
* **Server-Side Only:** The commands, chat messages, and sounds will work. However, the server *cannot* force a vanilla client to drop frames. The actual FPS limiting will not happen.
* **Server + Client Side (Recommended):** Players must install the mod on their clients. They will see the HUD signal bars, and their game will *actually* drop to the specified FPS limit based on their assigned level.
*(Note: If a player has their maximum FPS set lower than the mod's limit, or has VSync enabled, the mod will respect their vanilla settings.)*
