About

Will Armor adds a complete, beautifully detailed armor set inspired by archangels. Every piece features its own custom 3D model (powered by GeckoLib), and the chestplate includes animated, flapping wings that react to your movement. The mod is designed for both visual appeal and meaningful gameplay – you can fly without creative mode, gain significant survivability bonuses, and unleash a temporary rage ability.

Two new craftable artifacts are also included: Sacred Wings and Sacred Halo – they can be used as decorative accessories or equipped if your modpack supports accessory slots (e.g., Curios/Trinkets).

Features

Armor Set & Full Set Bonuses

When you wear all four pieces (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots), you receive:

• +15 Health (7.5 extra hearts) – greatly increased durability

• Regeneration I – constant health recovery over time

• Resistance I – reduces incoming damage

• Unlimited Flight – fly freely in any dimension without needing creative mode or elytra gliding (works like creative flight, but balanced for survival)

• Speed II While Flying – move noticeably faster in the air

Artifacts

• Sacred Wings – decorative/accessory item with a custom model

• Sacred Halo – decorative/accessory item with a glowing effect

Both are craftable using materials found in the vanilla game (recipes are visible in JEI/REI).

Enraged Mode

Press the Y key (configurable) to activate a two-phase rage ability:

• Phase 1 (10 seconds): You are inflicted with Blindness and Weakness – a moment of vulnerability before the power surge.

• Phase 2 (45 seconds): You gain Strength, Resistance, and Absorption – turning you into a formidable force.

• Cooldown: 300 seconds (5 minutes) after the effect ends.

This adds a risk-reward dynamic: survive the initial debuff to unleash devastating power.

Progression & Customization

• 5 unique achievements to unlock as you craft and use the armor

• Crafting recipes for every piece and artifact

• Full localization – currently supports English and Russian (more languages can be added)

• Configurable balance – tweak rage duration, cooldown, health bonus, etc.

Installation

1. Forge – version 47.4.10 or later (for Minecraft 1.20.1)

2. GeckoLib – version 4.7.3 or later (required for 3D animations)

3. Download the mod JAR and place it in your mods folder

4. Launch Minecraft and enjoy!

Note: This mod works on both client and server (dedicated servers support all mechanics).

Configuration

After the first launch, a config file will be generated at:
config/willarmor-common.toml

You can edit these values:

• rageDuration – duration of the enraged state (seconds)

• rageCooldown – cooldown between uses (seconds)

• healthBonus – extra health points granted by the full set

FAQ

Q: Does the flight work in the Nether/End?
A: Yes, unlimited flight works in all dimensions.

Q: Can I use the artifacts with Curios/Trinkets?
A: The mod does not force a dependency, but if you have an accessory API installed, the items can be placed in appropriate slots (otherwise they are just decorative).

Q: Is the mod server-safe?
A: Absolutely. All mechanics are server-authoritative.

Q: Can I disable the rage ability?
A: You can set the cooldown or duration to 0 in the config to effectively disable it.
