Description
Turn the entire Overworld into an eternal winter.
Select the "Winter Falls" world type when creating a new world to enable all winter mechanics.
Features
- It snows forever in the Overworld — the vanilla weather cycle is completely disabled;
- Snow accumulates naturally and gets thicker over time;
- All exposed water surfaces freeze into ice automatically;
- Dense winter fog during nighttime and snowy weather;
- No more sunrise/sunset colors — the sky takes on a pale wintery gray.
- Mob mechanics
- Snow Golems: Spawn with a low chance in any biome; no longer die from weather or temperature;
- Strays: Spawn with a chance in any biome; naturally spawned Skeletons have a chance to convert into Strays;
- Polar Bears: Spawn with a low chance in any biome, usually as a family group (adults + cubs);
- Foxes: Spawn with a low chance in any biome, always white Arctic foxes; low chance to spawn as a kit; adult foxes have a 15% chance to hold items in their mouth, kits have 35%;
- Rabbits: Naturally spawned rabbits are always white;
- Wolves: Naturally spawned wolves are always white.
Configuration
- Whether to override vanilla precipitation (force snow everywhere)
- Whether to disable the vanilla weather cycle
- Snow accumulation check interval and probability
