About
Description
Build. Evolve. Face the Wither.
Wither Survivors turns Minecraft into a compact arena survival game. Choose a character, dodge the growing horde and let your weapons attack automatically. Collect experience, pick upgrades and combine three weapons into a build of your own.
Survive eight minutes of waves, then face an overwhelmingly powerful Wither. The demo is built around short runs, readable attacks and Minecraft's familiar items, mobs and sounds.
A complete survival loop
- Four characters, each with a starting weapon, different stats and a unique bonus.
- Nine automatic weapons: Whip, Soul Torch, Bow, Iron Axe, Spore Blossom, Lightning Rod, Amethyst Shard, Lingering Potion and Shield.
- Three weapon slots and five enchantment slots per run. Random level-up choices make each build different; one free reroll gives you another chance.
- Weapon evolutions from chests: combine a rank-V weapon with its matching enchantment. Turn a Bow into a Crossbow, a Lightning Rod into a Trident, or a Shield into a Totem of Undying.
- Ten enchantments affecting damage, speed, armor, recovery, attack speed, projectile count, area, pickup range, maximum health and effect duration.
- A raised arena with hills, ruins, an elevated stone crossing, a ravine and slime launch areas. Keep shooting while you jump and escape down a slope.
- Escalating waves, armored enemies and three stage bosses with attack warnings and recovery windows.
- Breakable supply pots, elite chests and an optional bell ambush.
- Permanent diamond upgrades, full-cost refunds, a Collection and post-run combat reports.
- A dedicated menu and HUD, damage numbers, visible inventory ranks and adjustable visual effects.
All in-game item models, textures, particles, fonts and sounds use Minecraft assets. No shaders or resource pack are required.
Installation
Requires Minecraft Java 26.2, Java 25, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer, and Fabric API 0.160.0+26.2 or a compatible newer 26.2 build.
- Install Fabric for Minecraft 26.2.
- Install Fabric API and the Wither Survivors JAR in the instance's
modsfolder. - Launch Minecraft and click Wither Survivors → Play in the main menu.
- Choose a character and start your run. Your diamonds and purchases are saved in that world.
From an existing world, press G to open the mode. Use Easy, Normal or Hard difficulty; Peaceful removes hostile mobs.

Demo scope
Version 0.10.0 is a playable early demo with one arena. The eight-minute wave clear is the main milestone; the Wither is an intentionally extreme final challenge, not an automatic death event.
Singleplayer is the tested way to play. This version permits one active arena run per server. Dedicated multiplayer has not been soak-tested; it is not a cooperative arena release. Client and server installations both need the mod for its complete interface and effects.
The internal mod ID, command and JAR prefix remain duskbound for save compatibility. Existing progression is retained when updating. Screenshots were staged in a separate world using normal equipment-slot limits; they show the actual game renderer and effects without retouching.
