About

Description

WARRING NATIONS: BLUEMAP

Renders Warring Nations territory, wars, and diplomacy directly onto your BlueMap web map. Nations are FTB Teams and their territory is FTB Chunks claims, so this reads real claim geometry and draws it live, no separate map data to maintain.

LIVE TERRITORY

  • Every nation's claimed land, merged into clean polygons in the nation's own color. Split territories and enclosed enemy pockets (donut holes) are handled correctly.
  • Terrain-following borders: territory is drawn as wall panels that trace the real ground height, instead of floating in midair or clipping underground on worlds that aren't near vanilla sea level.
  • A flat, depth-tested tint per claimed chunk, visible from the top-down map view.

ACTIVE WAR OVERLAY

  • The contested frontline, a nation's chunks bordering an enemy's, highlighted in a distinct war color with a thicker border.
  • Popups list who's fighting whom.

CAPITALS

  • A point-of-interest marker at each nation's largest region per dimension, popup showing tier, leader, members, and size.

ALLIANCES

  • Optional lines connecting the capitals of allied nations sharing a dimension. Off by default, toggle on in the web app.

LIVE, INCREMENTAL UPDATES

  • Markers rebuild within seconds of a claim, war, or diplomacy change.
  • Only the nation(s) that actually changed recompute, not the whole map, with a periodic full refresh as a safety net.
  • Rebuilds are debounced so a burst of changes causes one redraw, not a flood.

DISCORD INTEGRATION (OPTIONAL)

  • If WN Discord is installed, posts a short message with a map link when a war starts or ends.
  • Fully reflection-guarded: no hard dependency, and map rendering is unaffected either way.

REQUIRED DEPENDENCIES
