About

Description

This small server-side mod aims to better Spawners and spawning so Race for the Wools maps offer a better experience. It is not at all intended to be used in normal survival-like experiences.

FEATURES:

- Mobs store the Spawner they were spawned from.

- Mobs without a Spawner have an ImmediateDespawnRange of 0.

- Mobs spawned from Spawners will have a decreased despawn range, equal to the Spawner's requiredPlayerRange + spawnRange.

- Mobs spawned from Spawners ignore their spawn conditions (a.k.a. in the dark, not in lava etc.).

- Spawners with Bees, Endermen, Polar Bears, Wolfs, Zombified Piglins, Evoker Fangs will send alternatives to the client for rendering, see MC-189565.

- Spawners will limit their spawns based on the amount of Mobs alive that they spawned, instead of the EntityType in a bounding box.

- Cats despawn after 5 seconds.

- Redstone Blocks can not be destroyed by explosives.
