World Border Timer

World Border Timer is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that adds a readable on-screen world border countdown to Minecraft. It shows a clear timer for world border shrinking, including how long remains until the border reaches its final size or how long before a moving border reaches the player.

This mod is useful for border-shrinking survival servers, minigames, events, and competitive scenarios where precise timing matters.

Features

  • Automatically displays a HUD world border timer whenever the border is shrinking.
  • Shows:
    • Time until the border finishes shrinking, if the player is inside the final safe size.
    • Time until the moving border reaches the player, if they are in its path.
    • Simple JSON config for customizing position, formatting, and display style.
    • Fully client-side. No server plugin or mod required.
    • Works on any server that uses vanilla border mechanics.

Installation

Requires Fabric Loader and Fabric API. Install both, then place the mod jar in your mods folder.
