What is WorldPause?

WorldPause is a lightweight quality-of-life mod that allows you to pause the entire game world at any moment with a single key press.

When activated, time in the world completely stops: mobs freeze in place, entities stop moving, and no mob sounds are played. Press the key again to instantly resume normal gameplay without any side effects.
