YMM4Craft

YMM4Craft connects Minecraft to YukkuriMovieMaker4 (YMM4), a Japanese video editor. Use your Minecraft world as live footage right on the YMM4 timeline.

This mod works together with the YMM4Craft plugin for YMM4. Download the plugin from GitHub: https://github.com/Dolphin-kun/YMM4Craft/releases Make sure the plugin and the mod are the same version.

Features

  • Control the camera position, rotation and field of view, as well as the time of day and weather, from YMM4
  • Place players, mobs and items in the scene and pose them (custom skins supported)
  • Transparent or solid-color backgrounds, plus an empty world for green-screen shots
  • Record your gameplay and replay it in YMM4 from any viewpoint
    • Free camera, or the view of the recording player or other players
    • Hands and held items, open screens such as chests and crafting tables, the mouse cursor, and chat
    • Flashback and ReplayMod recordings can also be loaded
  • Export replay audio as a WAV file

Requirements

  • Minecraft Java Edition 26.3
  • Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or later
  • Fabric API
  • YMM4 with the YMM4Craft plugin
  • Optional: Mod Menu

How to use

  1. Place a "YMM4Craftシーン" (YMM4Craft scene) item on the YMM4 timeline.
  2. On the Minecraft title screen, click the YMM4 icon to the left of "Singleplayer", then click "Connect to YMM4".
  3. In YMM4, open a world or a replay from the "ワールド" (World) field of the scene.

To record replays, turn on "Record replays" on the same screen.

Effect on normal play

  • The mod is active only while connected to YMM4. Otherwise it behaves exactly like vanilla (except when replay recording is turned on).
  • Worlds are always copied before opening. Your original worlds are never modified.
  • All communication stays on your PC. No network ports are opened.

About recording

Recordings contain everything received from the server, including other players' names, skins and chat.

  • Do not record on servers that do not allow it.
  • Get permission from other players before publishing videos that show them.
