## 🧟 Phase System (Normal Mode)

| Phase 1 | 50 kills | Zombies gain leather helmets and wooden swords, HP 22 |

| Phase 4 | 500 kills | Enchanted armor and weapons, 100-block follow range, HP 60 |
| Phase 5 | 1000 kills | Extreme speed, enchanted gear, 150-block follow range, HP 70. Zombies break blocks when stuck |

## 💀 Chaos Mode
Chaos Mode is where the real nightmare begins. Enable it with a single command and the world descends into total zombie apocalypse.
How to Enable
### Day & Night Cycle
Chaos Mode features a dynamic day/night difficulty system:
**☀️ Daytime (Safer... relatively)**
- Zombie HP: 10
- Zombie Speed: 0.18 (very slow, shambling undead)
- Zombie Attack: 3-5 damage
- Spawn Rate: 0-1 zombies per player per second
- Use this time to scavenge, craft, and fortify your base
**🌙 Nighttime (Pure Terror)**
- Zombie HP: 20
- Zombie Speed: 0.33 (fast, aggressive pursuit)
- Zombie Attack: 5-8 damage
- Spawn Rate: 1-3 zombies per player per second
- Massive hordes surround you from every direction
- Survival is not guaranteed
### Chaos Mode Zombie Abilities
**🌊 Water Adaptation**
Zombies are no longer stopped by water. In Chaos Mode, all zombies:
- Have permanent Water Breathing effect
- Swim at high speed with Dolphin's Grace
- Never drown — their air supply constantly resets
- Will chase you across oceans, rivers, and lakes
There is no safe water escape.
**🚪 Door Breaking**
Forget hiding behind doors. Chaos Mode zombies:
- Instantly destroy any door (wood or iron) within 1 block
- Check for doors every 0.5 seconds
- Doors drop as items when broken
- No door can stop the horde
**🔥 Sunlight Immunity**
Zombies in Chaos Mode do not burn in sunlight. Fire from sun exposure is immediately extinguished. Daylight offers reduced zombie strength but not safety from existing zombies.
**👶 No Baby Zombies**
All baby zombies are automatically converted to adults. No more tiny speedsters ruining your day.
**🚫 Monster Exclusion**
In Chaos Mode, only zombies, bandits, and veteran bandits spawn naturally. Creepers, spiders, skeletons, and other monsters are blocked from natural spawning, creating a pure zombie apocalypse atmosphere.
**🥚 Spawn Eggs Still Work**
Want to test something or add variety? Spawn eggs bypass the monster block and work normally. You can still summon any mob with spawn eggs.

## 🐄 Hostile Wildlife System
In Chaos Mode, the animals are not your friends.
### How It Works
1. You attack any neutral mob (cow, sheep, pig, chicken, etc.)
2. **ALL neutral mobs within a 50-block radius** become hostile toward you
3. They aggressively chase you at high speed for 10 seconds
4. They deal 4 damage (2 hearts) every 0.5 seconds when close
5. Animals apply light knockback on hit
### Affected Mobs
Every non-monster mob retaliates, including:
- Cows, Sheep, Pigs, Chickens
- Iron Golems (at their normal speed)
- Horses, Donkeys, Mules
- Cats, Dogs, Foxes
- Rabbits, Turtles
- Villagers
- And any other non-hostile mob
### Animal HP
All animals in Chaos Mode have their HP set to 10 (5 hearts), making them tougher than normal.
### Daytime Animal Spawns
During daytime, extra animals spawn around players every 3 seconds:
- 1-2 animals per player (Cows, Sheep, Pigs, Chickens)
- Spawn 20-50 blocks away from players
- This means more resources... but also more potential enemies if you start a fight
**Strategy Tip:** Animals are a valuable food source, but think twice before attacking. One punch could turn a peaceful meadow into a battlefield.

## 👤 Custom Entities
### Bandits
Hostile human survivors roaming the world. They come in 9 different skin variants and pose a serious threat to unprepared players.
### Veteran Bandits
Elite bandit variants with enhanced combat abilities. Much more dangerous than regular bandits.
### Special Forces
Military-themed hostile entities. The most organized human threat you'll encounter.
### Infected Zombies
Created when the Virus infects living entities. Infected zombies retain the appearance of their original form.
### Fugitives
Passive human NPCs found in the world. They can be infected by the virus and turned into zombies.
### Corpses
When entities die, they leave behind corpse entities that remain in the world. Corpses go through visual decay stages.
---
## 🔫 Weapons & Items
### Butcher Knife
A deadly melee weapon for close-quarters combat.
### Gun
Ranged weapon that fires bullets. Requires ammo.
### Machine Gun
Rapid-fire ranged weapon for crowd control. Burns through ammo quickly but devastates zombie hordes.
### Ammo
Ammunition for the Gun and Machine Gun. Craft it and keep a steady supply.

- **Brain** — Rare drop
- **Stomach** — Rare drop

---

- Infected entities transform into Infected Zombies upon death
- The infection spreads the horror across the world

---

4. As phases advance, prepare for tougher zombies
5. Reach Phase 7 for the ultimate challenge
### Chaos Mode
1. Create a new world
2. Open chat (T key)
3. Type: `/gamerule chaosMode true`

### Survival Tips
- **Build immediately** — Zombies break doors, so use blocks for walls
- **Avoid water bases** — Zombies swim fast and won't drown
- **Don't punch animals carelessly** — 50 blocks of angry livestock is no joke
- **Use daytime wisely** — Zombies are weak and slow during the day
- **Stock up on ammo** — Guns are your best friend at night
- **Go underground** — Caves can limit zombie approach angles
- **Play with friends** — More players means more zombie spawns, but also more firepower

## ❓ FAQ
**Q: Does this mod work in multiplayer?**
A: Yes! All features work in multiplayer. Zombie spawns scale per player.
**Q: Can I use this with other mods?**
A: It should be compatible with most mods. Mods that modify zombie behavior may conflict.
**Q: Is Chaos Mode too hard?**
A: Daytime gives you a breather with weak, slow zombies. Use that time to prepare for nightfall. Playing on Easy or Normal difficulty also helps.
**Q: Why can't I break blocks / use certain items?**
A: This mod does not restrict any vanilla mechanics. If you experience issues, check for mod conflicts.
**Q: How do I disable the mod?**
A: Remove the JAR file from your mods folder, or set `/gamerule chaosMode false` to disable Chaos Mode.

**Enjoy the apocalypse. Good luck, survivor.** 🧟
