Description

Overview 🤔

Honestly, I got so sick of manually hunting down and downloading the exact same performance mods every single time I created a new Minecraft profile. It’s just a total waste of time, right? 😤 That’s why I put together Minimal Modpack 🛠️. It’s a super lightweight, vanilla-plus base designed to skip all that annoying setup friction. Instead of doing the chores yourself, this pack gives you a rock-solid, pre-configured foundation right out of the box. You can use it as a clean canvas to build your own massive custom setup, or just enjoy a buttery-smooth vanilla experience. It's totally up to you! ✨

Supported Versions 🎮

Don't worry, I've got you covered across a massive range of versions. Here is the compatibility chart for each loader:

Minecraft Version Fabric Forge NeoForge
1.16.5
1.18.2
1.19.2
1.20.1
1.21.1
26.1.1

Included Features 👀

I carefully picked and tuned these mods to squeeze out maximum performance without messing with the actual Vanilla gameplay mechanics. For the core rendering engine, it uses Sodium and Lithium (or Rubidium/Embeddium depending on your Forge setup) to overhaul the vanilla renderer completely. Say goodbye to micro-stuttering and enjoy a massive FPS boost! 🔥 To handle memory, FerriteCore and ModernFix drastically reduce RAM usage and cut down those painfully long game launch times. I also added ImmediatelyFast and EntityCulling to optimize immediate-mode rendering and stop rendering hidden entities, which helps heavily in dense areas 🎯. On the visual side, Iris and Oculus Shaders are built right in, giving you full shader support compatible with Sodium so you can run your favorite shaders without turning your PC into a space heater 🗺️. For handy UI tweaks, Jade gives you that awesome HUD overlay to see what block you're looking at, while Mouse Tweaks and Mod Menu make inventory sorting and mod checking way less annoying 📦.

Note⚠️

Not all configurations use the same mods, as some may be incompatible depending on the version.

Benchmarks 📊

To prove how much of a difference this actually makes, I ran some raw benchmarks comparing this pack to standard vanilla Minecraft. My test rig uses an Intel Core i5-8400 with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, with the FPS limit completely uncapped 🖥️. These specific numbers are from version 1.21.1, using the exact same world seed to keep things fair. *Note: If you plan on using a lot of mods (especially if you want to use Forge or NeoForge environments), please refer to the TNT explosion results. Other than that, there's basically no need to look at the rest.

My Test Scenarios Minimal Modpack (Fabric 1.21.1) Vanilla Minecraft (No Loader)
Fresh World Spawn (Right after chunk gen) 189 FPS ~300 FPS
General Gameplay (Exploring around) 250 ~ 400 FPS ~150 FPS
Staring at the Sky (Looking straight up) 1000+ FPS (Spikes way up temporarily) ~450 FPS
3000 TNT Explosion Test (Superflat World) Dropped to ~30 FPS (No crash!) Dropped to 1 ~ 2 FPS (Absolute slideshow ☠️)

As you can see, the general gameplay FPS basically doubles with this pack. But the biggest difference shows up under heavy loads. While detonating 3000 TNT at once turns vanilla Minecraft into a complete 1-FPS disaster, this pack manages to hold onto a playable 30 FPS without breaking a sweat or crashing! 💪

Important Notes ⚠️

Since this pack supports multiple mod loaders and versions, the exact mod list and configurations will vary depending on the version you choose (like Sodium on Fabric vs Embeddium on Forge). Just make sure to peek at the changelog for the specific version you're downloading to see the exact mod list! 🔍
