A Slightly Bigger World
No reviews yet
A small attempt to make a pack to introduce a few friends to mods. The goal is to generally enhance the gameplay, add depth to systems where possible, and make the game feel more rewarding to play; all of this while remaining server capable and smoothish.
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Features content that solely expands on Vanilla mechanics and gameplay.
Includes a little of everything without sticking to any one particular type of gameplay or style.
Ideal for small groups of players or cooperative gameplay.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

About
Description
This project will feature a few different types of mods, primarily Performance/QoL, World Generation/Biomes, Content (armor, tools, weapons, structures), and Reworks (such as Yung's series of mods).
The secondary goal of the pack is to keep it multiplayer stable and performing well, as it is made with less powerful computers in mind. In my experience, most modpacks that require ~8 Gb of memory do not perform well in a multiplayer environment, this pack tries to zero in on at least making a small-scale (2-5 people) multiplayer experience somewhat smooth.
With all of this said, this is my first attempt at a modpack for multiplayer, so the amount of bugs and stability may be suboptimal.
Due to a lack of prior experience, this will be a single combined pack with no client/server separation, if you intend to use this on a server, look to the console to see which mods have no effect or should be disabled; this maximizes performance. The lack of separation also means I will exclude some very powerful performance mods to make sure it is an easy server install; however, I greatly encourage adding them manually (like Flerovium) as necessary to achieve truly maximized performance.
Enjoy!
