Aberrant is a modpack for those who like consistency.
No longer will you have to wonder if the modpack contains a vertical slab variant for a block, because it always does.
For every new type of block added, there are variants in all other similar blocks. There are new chests for each wood type and all the hanging signs you could need!
Every inch of the modpack has new stuff to explore - stuff that wouldn't be out of place in vanilla minecraft.
- Enjoy team Abnormals' and team Aurora's mods and all the blocks and biomes that come with them
- See all the new features added by the likes of Charm, Quark, and Supplementaries
- Find all the new mobs added with Alex's Mobs and quark
- Venture into the revamped caves from Better Caves
- Visit many new structures, added by Better Mineshafts, Repurposed Structures, Better Strongholds, Workshops Of Doom, The Conjurer, Stoneholm and Repurposed Structures
- Explore the Bumblezone and the expanded bees from Buzzier Bees
Conquer the nether and choose yourself a custom set of netherite armor from Upgraded Netherite
After installing:
Here are a few things you should use that I couldn't include in the pack itself:
- Install Optifine
- Get the Grass Flowers resource pack to add little flower details to some grass blocks
- Get the Quark VRO resource pack for various visual enhancements
- Get the Up To Scratch resource pack to make the textures of some old vanilla items more inline with modern minecraft's art style
- Get this Vanilla Tweaks resource pack configuration for various visual enhancements
Future plans:
I have plans for some major updates to the modpack as well, such as a nether expansion. I also have plans to create serveral spin-offs, taking the base pack and adding mods that you wouldn't find in vanilla minecraft but are still high-quality and will work well, expect at least a magic spin-off
