About
Description
Includes mods such as Immersive Engineering, Buildcraft, Mekanism and Advanced Rocketry! Even going to space should be automated.
This pack focuses heavily on automation using Immersive Engineering. The end "goal" of the pack is to automate building rockets to fly to space, but this pack has no quests. The pack is completed whenever you want to stop playing.
Please REVIEW your crash logs to determine what mod is causing them and send the issue to the mod author(s). If you encounter a DEFINITIVE incompatibility, please contact me. I am not responsible for fixing your crashes or determining what caused them.
This pack features no mods that are known to be game-breakingly incompatible with Optifine. I would personally recommend adding it if you need an FPS boost, however it may not have the same effect for you that it does for me.
PLEASE NOTE that this modpack requires at LEAST 4GB of RAM to run, and can require upwards of 8GB depending on how much heavy automation you have in your world.
LIST OF KNOWN ISSUES:
- Sometimes freezes to crash on singleplayer quit.
- Does not seem to happen in multiplayer, only singleplayer worlds and when hosting a LAN world.
- Allocating more RAM may fix this problem.
TIPS FOR BOOSTING FPS:
- Ensure you have at least 4GB of RAM given to Minecraft.
- Enable alwaysSetupTerrainOffThread in forge.cfg.
- If you're experiencing "ghost chunk loading"-related lag (a noticeable lag spike every ~30 seconds), a way to partially work around the problem is to increase the value of dormantChunkCacheSize in forgeChunkLoading.cfg.
- For some GPU/driver configurations, disabling mipmaps (setting Mipmap Levels to 0) will boost FPS considerably. This is due to lag caused by animated texture updates being much higher with increasing amounts of textures to update, which scales linearly with the amount of mipmap levels.
