About
Description
Acepack is a straightforward modpack named after myself (ala Direwolf20) that I started work on some years ago. I've made custom modpacks for me & my friends since 1.7.10, & decided last year in the last pack iteration to try to make Acepack into a published pack finally.
This pack has a focus on technology, exploration, and building. Ideal for those of us who like to build & enjoy the scenery, with the convenience of technology to help us get around & supply our materials! Play with complementary shaders unbound (or your personal favorite shaderpack) for an even better experience! :)
This is officially my first published modpack, & it's still got elements that need testing, adjustments, & adding to (such as the questbook). I do this casually & largely by myself, so it's not nearly as impressive as other big packs such as All The Mods. If your goal is a pack full of carefully tuned progression, fancy quests, custom modded content integration, & ticking off mods like a todo list, that's what ATM is for.
I'm still in the process of fine-tuning elements of the pack, & suggestions + feedback are very welcome!

Update 1.1 has been released! While the questbook is nowhere near where I want it to be, performance has been DRASTICALLY improved. I'd still recommend 10GB of RAM allocation if you can afford it, but you can now get away with substantially less allocation. Check out the changelog for more information.
Subsequent updates will be focused primarily on quests, unless I can find any other sources of serious performance drain.
