Adventure Awaits is a RPG, exploration and magic focused modpack. 

Magic mods are always overshadowed by tech mods, to remedy this I have taken out most tech mods and included most magic mods

Another downside to excessive tech mods is that they force you to settle down in one spot and build up a base, but this negates any exploration intended in a modpack

Mods like comforts and prefab keep you on the move, while customized dungeon loot makes dungeon crawling a blast. 

There are dozens of different structures to explore

Hundreds of mobs to kill, tame, or run from

Lots of fun loot to find with mods like MegaLoot, Random Loot Mod, Chance Cubes and Inventory Pets

Many different armor sets and tools from mods like Spartan Weaponry/Shields, Yoyos, Grappling hooks, Cyclic, EnderIO, and more, each with randomized qualities, some with living enchantments, and some with personalities, making each feel unique

The more you use a piece of armor or tool the better you get with it allowing you to unlock abilities with Enhanced Armaments

Almost everything in this modpack is locked behind a level requirement from Reskillable giving it that RPG feel, making you train and level to use better equipment

Most of the in game limits have been taken off with Attribute Fix, find the strongest armor to kill the toughest monsters without breaking a sweat, and the most dangerous weapons to kill them before they even touch you

Eating no longer regenerates your health, you will need to rely on potions, which are more applicable with Potion Rings, or bandages and med-kits, which have had their recipes changed

Eat different food to increase your total life, eat the same food repeatedly and you will diminish the returns and the bigger the meal the longer it takes to eat

Realistic Torches causes you to make matches to light torches which then go out over time

With the absence of most tech mods you must use your creativity and the magic mods provided to do your farming

I find most modpacks rather easy, you don't need to take many risks and your life is rarely in danger. Ice and Fire takes that away, along with Lycanites mobs, Mowzies mobs, Infernal mobs, and Dungeon Mobs Reborn

Those are also made harder due to a scaling difficulty, mobs spawning with potion effects, and Special AI

 This is meant to be a challenge and as such you may find yourself dying frequently, but that's alright, with the Gravestone mod you will keep your belongings, but getting back to them might be a different story
