The Official Client of the Aegis Server.

Feel Free to join our Discord or check out our BlueMap to get a sneak peak into the world of Aegis.

Not sure if you want to install the client? No worries! Aegis can be connected to on practically any Minecraft version! Go ahead and give us a try on your own terms before making up your mind!

Aegis is styled after many modern MMORPG franchises, with elements recreated and heavily inspired by titles such as Runescape, World of Warcraft, and New World. It also was influenced directly by a long dormant Minecraft server known as Buxville. The core of the game entails the classic XP grind mechanic with tiered rewards along the way. The higher your level goes in a certain skill, the more access you will gain to powerful weapons, tools, armors, spells and more!

Magic is something that has been always around in Minecraft, but never truly given a rhyme or reason. Only having been limited too Enchants, Nether Portals, and Potions really puts a damper on things. Not to worry, within the world of Aegis there are currently 50+ spells you can cast with varying affects. From walking on air, to backstabbing someone to homing sheep that explode on contact, Aegis aims to make magic an integral and fun mechanic of the game. Starting simply with setting your enemy on fire to being able to craft Warp Gates, Magic can truly turn the tide of combat.

Outside of the MMO based core, Aegis also has a system of Towns and Nations for the player to participate in! The best part about this is the fact that Aegis doesn't just gatekeep towns from the player like most MMORPG's. The Towns can be entirely player owned and managed, providing a unique opportunity for the player to directly affect the lore and shaping of the world. Whether you are a peon amongst others, living within your commune, or a Mayor running your own town, collecting taxes from your citizens and paying upkeep. Regardless of the path you find yourself on, you will play a role in shaping the land and lore within the world.

One major factor in setting us apart from others is the fact that we have an ever expanding library of custom items being added to the game, each making the world feel more vibrant than the rest. With everything from Swords, Armor, Ore Generation, Mobs, Decoration, Crops, Food, and literally thousands of items for the player to interact with in new and exciting ways!

Seasons are a favorite addition to the Aegis world. With 4 real-time month cycles making up a in-game year, these offer variations in gameplay that make the world feel alive. Each season having its own unique color palette (based on biome), crop growth, daylight cycles, holidays, weather, mob spawns, shrubbery growth, and so much more.

While traveling the world, you may realize that something doesn't quite feel normal. That's because Aegis has a completely custom Terrain generation offering unique biomes for the player to explore, all within the vanilla game.

Aegis the the Culmination of 1000's of hours from a extremely devoted team. Every facet of gameplay has been carefully curated in an attempt to create a exciting and fun experience that users can continue to help us build! We look forward to seeing you in the world of Aegis!
