About

Description

A modpack centered around balanced progression while still including many great mods, especially great quality of life mods that upgrade the simple minecraft experience.

A big staple of this modpack is the removal of automation, not the removal of RF entirely, just the things that can cause the game to feel more like creative mod rather than exploring and working for resources.

Another big staple is that the balance and progression is capped behind the endgame content of other mods, so The End and the Wither isn't the final facet of the game. The Twilight Forest and Betweenlands all play a part into game progression.

Ultimately, this modpack is just a tiny little pet project of mine designed for me and my friends. If others find it enjoyable, all the better :)

Quality of Life Mods

  • Journey Map
    • The map one
  • JEI / JEI Integration
    • It adds the item UI
    • Also throw in the No Recipe Book mod because that tool in vanilla is no longer needed
  • Pam’s Harvestcraft
    • Adds many food items and allows for simpler farm harvesting
  • Fence Jumper
    • Jump over fences with ease, but mobs and pets can't
  • Inventory Tweaks
    • Auto grabs a new tool when old expires, if one exists in inventory; does the some for stacks that run out
  • Weather, Storms & Tornadoes
    • Realistic clouds and visible storms in the distance
  • Tomb Many Graves 2 (API)
    • The death recovery one
    • Requires compatibility mod
  • Cosmetic Armor Reworked
    • The cosmetic gear one
    • Requires compatibility mod
  • FTB Utilities
    • The claiming area one
  • BiblioCraft
    • Adds tons of new decorative stuff
  • Quick Leaf Decay
    • Self explanatory
  • Waystones
    • Waystones are a craftable object to allow fast travel between them at the cost of levels; automatically spawns in villages (xp cost can be and will likely be turned off)
    • Telepad is a more difficult to craft item, but works more efficiently and intuitively than a waystone
  • Nether Portal Fix
    • The nether portal you use in overworld will always be the one you return to regardless of conflicting portal locations

Small Helpful Additives

  • Baubles
    • Adds a bauble inventory
  • Extra Utilities 2
    • Adds some useful baubles
  • Dark Utilities
    • Some more useful things
  • Biomes O’ Plenty / Quark
    • Self explanatory
  • Storage Drawers
    • Bigger storage containers
  • Improved Backpack
    • …. backpacks, man.
  • EnderStorage 1.8.+
    • The color coordinated ender chests that connect to chests of the same color
  • Cyclic / Reliquary
    • Adds many fun and helpful items to the game
  • Chisel
    • Adds many extra choices in textures to many vanilla blocks
  • Little Tiles
    • A mod that can split blocks into much smaller versions for detailing architecture
    • Requires Creative Core mod
  • Cooking for Blockheads
    • Goes hand in hand with the Pam's Harvestcraft by adding kitchen type blocks so cooking the recipes isn't too difficult
  • Long Fall Boots
    • Boots that negate fall damage

Large Extra Content Mods

  • Embers
    • The one and only tech mod that isn't unbalanced, doesn't use RF (pfft… stupid RF), and it is more interactive and doesn't rely on automation
    • Soot mod is an addon to Embers to make it a little better
  • Botania
    • An interactive magic mod that provides many useful things, but no unbalancing tools and weapons; it also has a high end boss
  • Roots 2
    • A fun, difficult mod that adds many cool tools
  • The Twilight Forest
    • I don't know much about this mod apart from it being a new world and there being a Hydra boss, but I'm excited to try it out
  • The Betweenlands
    • A really cool new world, a lot of fun to go into for a more difficult minecraft experience
  • Abyssalcraft
    • Don't know much about it, but I know it doesn't need RF is it's good in my book
  • Thaumcraft
    • A super lore immersive mod that delves deep into its own history; not sure the kind of gear it provides, but the process of discovery looks fun

There's few more, but the above is the heart of the pack. Not terribly small or large, meant for weaker computers while still maintaining a great deal of new and exciting content.
