Aeronautics Ikaria is a Minecraft modpack where solid ground gives way to an endless sky. Beneath you lie only clouds and the void; ahead, scattered lands waiting to be reached, and the engineering to reach them.

Create With a Purpose

In most packs, Create is a toy. You build a factory because you can, automate because it's satisfying, and end up with machines that solve problems nobody had.

In Ikaria, every machine answers a real need.

There is no ground to walk on, so you need wings, a balloon, a ship. Resources are scattered across distant islands, so you need transport, logistics, cargo lifts. Your home island is small and finite, so you need compact, efficient production. The sky is dangerous, so you need safer routes, better engines, and eventually cannons.

Every gear you place pushes you further: to the next island, the next resource, the next horizon. Engineering isn't a side hobby here; it's how you survive, travel and grow. The world creates the problem, and Create is your answer.

We built Ikaria around three goals:

• A world that demands engineering: sparse resources, dangerous gaps and distant lands that reward those who build their way there.
• Threats worth defending against: raids that make cannons, guns and fortifications a necessity, not decoration.

• 📔 Explorer's journals. Instead of a wall of guides, you learn the way the world's past adventurers did: through their diaries, hidden in chests across the sky. Each one teaches a piece of Create, flight or survival, so learning becomes part of the adventure. A short note at the start gets you going.
• ⚒️ Recipes balanced for scarcity, so every resource matters.
• 🏴‍☠️ Server foundations: private ships, private islands, claims.
