An amalgamation of mods focused on magic, tech, monster, construction, and more. Some key elements:

* Thermal Expansion, Mekanism, IndustrialCraft 2: this family of mods provides a means for processing materials more efficiently and flexibly, with a smooth progression through technological maturity. 

* Refined/Reborn Storage: an AE1-like storage and crafting solution. Reduces the likelihood of carpal tunnel.

* Tinker's Construct: the quintessential weapon and tool mod. Provides a nice early game multiblock structure in the smeltery which kickstarts ore processing and alloying.

* Thaumcraft, Botania, Blood Magic, Astral Sorcery: a little magic never hurt anyone. Uncover the secrets of magic and bend the world to your will.

* Extreme Reactors: this modern port of the classic Big Reactors mod allows players to create large multi-block structures that generate massive amounts of energy to power production machines.  

* Champions, Mowzie's Mobs, Ender IO Zoo: enemies are more varied and more powerful. Prepare your butts.

* Chisel, Chisel & Bits: for the designers among us. Select from many textures for most common blocks and cut blocks down to size.
