Aethelthryth Modpack

Aethelthryth is an immersive Minecraft modpack focused on exploration, roleplay, atmosphere and an enhanced vanilla experience. It combines custom gameplay features, improved world generation, enhanced visuals, immersive audio and useful quality-of-life improvements.

What does the modpack offer?

⛵ Exploration & Ships

Simple Ships adds functional ships that allow players to travel across oceans and rivers in a more immersive way. Whether you're exploring distant shores, transporting resources or simply sailing with friends, ships provide a new way to experience the world.

🗺️ Enhanced Maps & Terrain

Topographic Maps 3D enhances Minecraft's maps with a three-dimensional representation of the surrounding terrain, making it easier to understand elevation and the shape of the landscape. Combined with Tectonic and Continents, the world becomes more interesting to explore, with larger and more varied landscapes.

🎙️ Immersive Communication

Plasmo Voice adds proximity voice chat, allowing players to communicate based on their distance from each other. The included pv-addon-whisper also provides whispering, making private conversations possible without leaving the game. pv-addon-soundphysics works together with the pack's audio improvements to create a more immersive communication experience.

🎨 Enhanced Visuals

The pack includes Iris Shaders and Complementary Shaders - Unbound to provide improved lighting, shadows, reflections and atmosphere. Fresh Animations, Fresh Moves, Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features give mobs and players more detailed models, animations and appearances.

🔊 Immersive Audio

Sound Physics Remastered changes how Minecraft sounds behave by adding effects such as reverberation and sound occlusion. This makes caves, buildings and other environments feel more alive and atmospheric.

✨ Quality of Life

The modpack also includes several smaller improvements designed to make everyday gameplay more enjoyable. FallingTree makes chopping trees more convenient, Emotecraft adds player emotes, and Boat Item View improves the first-person experience while using boats.
