About
Description

This is literally the best vanilla Minecraft client-sided pack you will ever see. This modpack is a massive collection of a ton of quality-of-life mods and resource packs. This pack is mainly for bringing back the original feel of Java edition as the main version of Minecraft(such as using VanillaTweaks to bring back the original blue-tinted buttons and remove the Java Edition title), but it can be customized however you like!
(A side note is this pack includes two resource packs that I've made and posted on CurseForge that are enabled by default and make the game fell more like it used to. Shameless plug. Sorry.)
I've pre-included some configurations for mods like BetterF3 that make sure it won't get in the way of the minimap, but again, feel free to customize this modpack to your liking.
Installation:
This modpack can be installed via the Modrinth launcher, the Curseforge launcher, ATLauncher, Prism Launcher, or literally any other launcher you can find. Easiest method would be to install it using the Modrinth launcher.
Mod List:
3D Skin Layers - Simply makes all skin overlays 3D.
Architectury - Dependency.
Auth Me - Allows the user to log in in-game if their session becomes invalid.
Bad Packets - Dependency.
Better Ping Display - Shows a player's actual ping instead of signal bars in the tab list.
Better Third Person - Allows you to look around yourself while in F5.
BetterF3 - Makes a more customizable F3 menu.
Bobby - Allows unnatural rendering distances on servers.
Cherished Worlds - Allows you to favorite single-player worlds.
CIT Resewn - Allows custom textures in resource packs without the need for Optifine.
Cloth Config - Dependency.
Cluttered Creative - Brings back the old creative inventory layout.
Controlling - Allows the user to search for keybinds by name or by key.
Customizable Player Models Simple Voice Chat compat - Adds compatibility between customizable player models and Simple Voice Chat.
Custom Splash Screen - Allows you to customize the splash screen.
Customizable Player Models - Allows the user to customize their player model to their liking with nearly limitless potential.
DynamicFPS - Slows down FPS rate when you're not focused on the Minecraft window to save resources.
Eating Animation - Shows an animation when eating.
EntityCulling - Removes entities that aren't shown on-screen to save resources.
FabricAPI - Dependency.
Fabric Language Kotlin - Dependency.
Falling Leaves - Shows falling leaves from trees.
FerriteCore - Reduces memory usage.
I Know What I'm Doing - Supresses gameplay hints. (Note: I think there's two versions of this mod, and both are used in this pack depending on the version. The newer version can be found here.)
InventoryHudPlus - Adds much more information to the HUD.
Iris - Allows the user to use shaders.
Krypton - Optimizes the Minecraft networking stack.
LambDynamicLights - Adds dynamic lighting, like Optifine.
Lithium - Singleplayer world optimizations to improve performance.
MixinTrace - Makes crash reports more extensive.
Mod Menu - Lists all installed mods and info about them.
No Chat Reports - Makes it impossible to report any message you send using the new chat reporting feature. Also disables telemetry.
NotEnoughAnimations - Adds a ton of player animations for actions like rowing a boat, or climbing a ladder.
Old MC Logo - Brings back the old crafting table window icon for Minecraft.
Placeholder API - Dependency.
Presence Footsteps - Adds a wide variety of footstep sounds that are way more realistic.
Reese's Sodium Options - Adds a ton of options to Sodium, making it as customizable as Optifine.
Roughly Enough Items - Fabric equivalent to Not Enough Items. Can show crafting recipes and more.
Screencopy - Copies screenshots to your clipboard when taken.
Searchables - Dependency.
Simple Voice Chat - Adds voice chat to the game.
Sodium - Highly optimizes game performance, giving more FPS. More powerful than Optifine.
Sodium Extra - Adds even more options to Sodium.
Sound Physics Remastered - Adds sound physics to the game. Based on Sound Physics by Sonic Ether.
WTHIT? - Shows info about the currently targeted block, entity, or player.
Xaero's Minimap(Fairplay Edition) - Shows a minimap of the current surroundings. Fair play edition should prevent you from breaking the rules on most servers.
Xaero's World Map - A fun mod that allows you to map out an entire Minecraft world, then look at it later.
Yet Another Config Lib - Dependency.
Zoomify - Adds zooming.
When a new version drops, be patient. I'm not in control of when these authors update their mods, so I update when they do.
