Description
A brand new rebuild of AGlitchedPack Redux built for a multicommunity server hosted by AGlitchedShadow! This pack will actively be streamed on Twitch at https://twitch.tv/aglitchedshadow and others!
We are now officially on Minecraft 1.21.1! Previously we were on 1.20.1, and while not too big of a leap, the newer version also changes the mod loader from Forge to NeoForge! In addition we have had a large number of mod changes, both removals and additions or changes in add-ons. The following is a collection of the main or focused mods:
First, Create is the primary focal point of the modpack (and the main reason we upgraded). For those just joining for the first time and does not know what Create is, in short, it's all about rotational energy and gears. The latest update (version 6 at time of writing) also adds in an incredibly powerful storage system among other things. See the ever growing number of videos on the full list. There's also 19 add-ons to hook into various other mods and add more fun things. This does not include New Age or The Factory Must Grow. Both of those are not updated yet and New Age made be added at a later date.
Second, Cobblemon is the next big focus. Quick disclaimer, Cobblemon is not affiliated with Pokémon nor Minecraft. Cobblemon, if the disclaimer didn't state it, adds in Minecraft varients of Pokémon. Outside of Create, this has the most add-ons to add in legendaries or ablity to ride pokemon or battle npcs, numbering at 23.
Third, Macaw's Suite is back with a handful of add-ons along with a few other cosmetic mods such as Chipped. While this collection is not nearly the same number of cosmetic blocks as the previous packs, it does provide a large amount.
Fourth, Farmer's Delight is the main food mod. In previous versions, we included Pam's. Despite it being updated, it was just far too many crops/trees/food items. Instead, more add-ons to Farmer's Delight was added that hooks into most of other mods. This also includes Serene Seasons! All crops (outside of Mystical Agriculture essence seeds) have a specific season to grow in.
As for magic mods, Iron's Spells & Spellbooks is still included, but an older classic is making a return: Ars Nouveau! Both of these mods are centered around researching and crafting spells with both having an exploration aspect. Additionally, Totemic is included for a few musical buffs (based on Totem Poles) to be added. Then, Occultism, a more ritualistic magic, has been added. Finally, and while neither are explicitly magic mods, Relics and Artifacts are included with a few add-ons to hook them into the other magic mods - both adds in various trinkets or items to find while exploring. Finally, Forbidden and Arcanus is included which magically enhances equipment.
As for other dimensions, Twilight Forest is still included. For those unfamiliar, it's an exploration focused/boss slaying dimension where areas are locked based on which boss you need to slay. Additionally, Eternal Skylight has been added, which may look like Twilight Forest, is quite different in its exploration focus. As well, The Aether has bee included for the 3rd dimension.
As for Tech mods, outside of Create, there's Immersive Engineering, which is focused around multiblock production/factories (using electricity). As well, Oritech has been included, which from appearance seems like a cool alternative to Immersive Engineering and Create. I personally don't have much experience with Oritech, but excited to see what it has instore.
Additionally, there is a colony simulator mod: MineColonies! This mod was included in Redux, but the add-on packs have been removed. For those who are not familiar with it, it is the colony simulator mod. Included from multiple requests, I am glad we got to include it!
Finally, there's a ton of quality of life or other smaller mods and various kind-of-mini mods. Examples included Comfirts (sleeping bags), Farming/Cooking for Blockheads (seed store and a multiblock kitchen), Freecam (hit F4!), FancyMenu, Corail Tombstone, and many others! (There's 250 mods in total, and outside of the library mods, don't think I can list all of them)
