Description
Akuma Hunters is a fun mod pack I made for my friends over the last 3 months mainly involving the Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) mod. I configured parts of the mod pack so certain awkward mobs wouldn't spawn and I also attempted to remove as many major spoilers as I could. I also added many crafting recipes to make some things easier, such as converting the basic nichirin blades into other ones and crafting the basic blades into their custom, hashira versions.
The Kimetsu no Yaiba mod has a very different play style than most mods, you can choose to become a Demon Slayer by getting a Nichirin Blade either by crafting it using the minerals at Mt. Yoko or slaying a demon, or you could become a Demon by drinking muzan's blood solidified in stone underground. As a Demon Slayer, you must slay the demons that ravage your perfect world to become stronger and eventually fight your way to the one that started it all. As a Demon, you will rule the lands with your unfathomable power and tear your way through the ranks to become the most powerful.
So, why this mod pack over others?
I have configured the mod to drag it a little bit closer to Minecraft-like gameplay so you don't have to look up annoying features of the mod pack. The way how the Kimetsu no Yaiba mod changes how you play Minecraft is an excellent trait because often I would find mod packs that just add a bunch of content to the game, but I rarely use that new content and continue using vanilla stuff to do my usual things, but it also has its drawbacks which I tried to remedy utilizing configuration mods and custom recipes.
This also attempts to cover up major spoilers to the manga of Demon Slayer, so this mod pack overall is safer to play. The mod pack is also designed for a server, so expect it to be more server friendly. This mod also utilizes the Essential mod to allow players to invite their friends into single-player worlds. Seriously, you need to check this mod out!
Keep in mind that this mod pack is made by a rather amateur mod pack creator with little to no experience in optimizing experiences to have good performances, It is recommended that you give your settings a check to tweak down settings like render distance. There are some performance issues that I'm trying to study at the moment.
I must give credit to the amazing mod developers behind all of these mods, these aren't all the mods or mod developers, just some specifics that I have to mention:
Aquaculture 2 by Shadowclaimer and Girafi: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/aquaculture
Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) by Orca and Grandewhale: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/demonslayer
^ (They didn't ask or provide anything for me, but I need to credit them for making this awesome mod)
If I need to give out credit to any other mod, please let me know!
