Description

Alaskan Wilderness is an adventure-focused modpack that drops you into a brutal, isolated survival expedition. Your base of operations has been completely abandoned, all communication with the outside world is cut off, and your only goal is to withstand the freezing climate and dangerous wildlife.
🌲 Key Features & Gameplay
  • Hardcore Survival Dynamics: Experience realistic environmental mechanics with Legendary Survival Overhaul, Serene Seasons, and Nutritional Balance. You will need to manage your body temperature, punch trees no more to get started (No Tree Punching), and carefully balance your diet to stay alive. 
  • Dangerous Wildlife & Depths: The wilderness is alive and unforgiving. Battle or avoid aggressive fauna using Alex's Mobs and Naturalist. The waters are equally treacherous, completely reworked via River Redux, North American Fishes, and aggressive Villainous Fish AI. 
  • Stunning Terrain Generation: Explore vast, breathtaking winter landscapes shaped by Tectonic, Regions Unexplored, and William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld. Enhanced immersion is provided by Distant Horizons, which lets you see incredibly far into the horizon. 
  • Expanded Combat & Engineering: Defend your homestead with massive arsenals from Spartan Weaponry, navigate freezing rivers on tactical vessels from aleki's Nifty Ships, and automate survival infrastructure using Create. 
  • Homesteading & Farming: Build up your shelter using MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod, cook complex meals using Farmer's Delight and Alex's Delight, and harvest specialized crops from Simple Farming.
🛠️ Optimization & Technical Recommendations
  • Memory Allocation: It is highly recommended to allocate at least 8GB of RAM to Minecraft, especially if you plan on utilizing the included shaders. 
  • Shaders & Sound: Out of the box, this pack features pre-configured high-fidelity visual and audio enhancements, featuring shaders like Bliss, BSL, and Complementary, combined with Dynamic Surroundings audio packs.
