About

Description

VHS Nightmares is not just a Minecraft modpack—it’s a psychological trap dressed as a survival experience.

Inspired by the unnerving world of analog horror (think The Backrooms, Local58, Gemini Home Entertainment), this modpack plunges you into a decaying reality where time warps, light flickers, and sound misleads. It's a world where every step echoes through VHS-static corridors, and every silence screams something isn’t right.

You wake up alone.
No UI.
No safety.
No idea what that sound behind the wall was.

Your character moves with disturbing realism, your tools feel clumsy, and every basic action—eating, walking, crafting—has been transformed into something subtly… wrong. Torches burn out when you need them most. Caves seem deeper than before. Something always feels like it’s just out of frame.
This isn't just survival—it’s disorientation.

You’ll encounter:

Realistic sound physics that turn a creaking floor into a full-blown panic attack.

A creepy atmosphere where light and darkness fight for dominance.

Silent monsters that observe. Or stalk. Or worse—wait.

A world that shifts tone as you play, as if the tape is slowly corrupting.

Whether you fall in by accident or choose to enter willingly, VHS Nightmares will challenge your sanity and reward only the most immersive players. No minimap. No escape. Just you, the static, and the question: “What is watching me?”
