ANCESTRY

ANCESTRY is a private survival multiplayer server. This is the official and approved modpack for use on the ANCESTRY multiplayer server. This modpack is a mix of QOL, performance, and cosmetic mods. This pack is very light and should work on most computers.

Mods

Here are the list of important mods in the ANCESTRY modpack. Click here for the full mod list.

Core Mods

• CaffeineMC (Sodium, Lithium, Phosphor, Hydrogen) = Performance mods. Significantly reduces your Minecraft startup time.
• Origins Mod & Addons = Pick your ancestry! Become a human, an inchling, a slime, or other mobs.
• Xaero's World Map/Minimap = Minimap mod/
• Jumploader = So you can use this modpack in the curseforge launcher.
• YUNG's Better Caves and Mineshafts = Adds an overhaul to the caves, much like the generation in 1.17.
• Tweakeroo = Toggleable QOL changes, though some may be considered cheaty.
• CustomSkinLoader = Allows you to upload your own skin, so other players see it even on offline servers. Uses a third-party website.
• BYG = Adds lots of biomes to Minecraft.
• Alloy Forgery = Allows you to make alloys out of lots of materials.
• Mythic Metals = Supplies Alloy Forgery with lots of metals.
• Croptopia = Adds new fruit trees, crops, and food. Croptopia trees only spawn in vanilla biomes.
• Adorn = Adds lots of furniture.

QOL Mods

• AFKTape = An easy solution to afk things in Minecraft.
• MiniHUD = Small F3 overlay that you can toggle or configure in the mod settings.
• Bedspreads = Allows applying banners to beds.
• Autoreconnect = Reconnects you if you've been kicked from a server.
• Reroll = Allows you to reroll enchantments in the enchanting table. GUI element conflicts with item sorter mod :(
