About

Description

The AnimeMQ SMP modpack was created, as the name suggests, to be used on the AnimeMQ SMP server. The main benefits of the modpack are the abundance of performance optimisation mods, a small amount of quality of life mods, and a proximity voice chat mod that is accepted by the server.

This modpack is still free to be used by users not part of AnimeMQ and/or the SMP. The modpack retains the Vanilla gameplay, meaning it can be used in existing singleplayer vanilla worlds just to increase performance by changing the rendering and lighting engine mechanics, and introduce slight QoL differences such as viewing saturation values, advancement and enchantment descriptions, adding in capes similar to OptiFine, and so on. The modpack can be used in majority of multiplayer servers, as the quality of life mods introduced shouldn't go against any server rules, and don't provide a huge advantage over other players. However, the Plasmo Voice proximity chat mod requires the server to have either the mod (Fabric/Forge server) or plugin (Spigot/Paper/Purpur etc.) installed on the server-side.
