Assortment of Tech

A modpack with a mix of tech, storage, utilities, quality of life and more.

There is 2 packs. Original and Extended.

Original being the main modpack after testing and cut down to the ones I wanted. I myself use this one.

Extended being the tougher one that's the main pack but readding the few I thought were interesting, getting them to work under the RAM limit still and adding some more challenge (by this I mean tougher mods, not a more harder recipe/curation, I just mean tougher mods that will already change the tone/strategy of the pack besides adding more content and blocks/items in other areas). All of those mods are set to their defaults.

What does this mean:

Extended includes the following mods:

-Bionisation (A DNA mod but also offers potion effects, bleeding out, mob related things like creeper explosions, and more, yes even with mob griefing command I tried it with to turn it off and you can't prevent it with that (unless maybe Bionisation configs not sure) so even building was a challenge).

-BodyHygiene (adds soaps and other items alongside I assume a hygiene mechanic at the hotbar)

-ColdSweat (adds armours and items for heat/cold, hotbar HUD and other temperature related things)

-L2Library and L2Backpack (adds RPG like stats as well as a quiver, backpacks and such)

-KrystalCraft (adds more armours, tools, weapons, gem/metal/alloys, Jade Horse Armour, raw versions of Redstone, Lapis, Diamold and Emerald to offer a bit more adventure/exploration and things to look for and the Raw Redstone and others felt interesting to add)

I probably would have added Combiner and recipes for it but removed it as didn't see much point or much need for it. I enjoyed recipes for campfire mod for Tanned Babric but didn't see much need for this one. IF you want to I'd recommend Combiner for a bit more recipe options yourself.

I removed these from the original pack during testing due to how awkward they were for me aka Bionisation's potion effects/creeper explosions and bleeding out when testing and after working out which ones I wanted to finalise thought they'd work as a good challenge for those wanting more.

Also I didn't see much need in KrystalCraft's resources and armour alongside the way L2 Library/L2 Backpack worked I wasn't sure on compared to Ender Chests/Ender Tanks or DImStorage which I forgot I had and added the Ender Chests/Ender Tank mod but it gives options for those who prefer whichever there (same with how I went about Filtered Chests and the 2 crate mods).

Main Description:

Mods like Letter Craft (I kind of see as a magic mod even if it is just a letters to items/blocks conversion mod) and FactInventory off other ways to get resources and use blocks in interesting ways.

Storage mods like Extra Storage, Fancy Crates, Filtered Chests, Labelling Containers, Fluidized Tanks, Large Fluid Tank, Mazurex Satchels as options for alteratnive chests, barrels/crates and fluid tanks along with other tweaks to such storage blocks or backpack like features. Or Mob Ball for capturing and spawning mobs.

Tech mods such as Electrona, Factorium, Lava Tech and Voluminous Energy as the main tech mods with their resources (ores, ingots, nuggets, gears, rods and major/multiblock machines or energy storage).

Utility mods such as Extra Utilities Reborn, Synth Lava Sources, Jetpack Mod, Ring of Attraction and others with their spikes, special tools and other use cases, cobble gen, jetpack flight or magnet ring.

Hammer mods like Pulverizing Hammers, Minig hammers (spelt that way) and Just Hammers offer their dust ore doubling or 3x3 pickaxe type cave mining options.

Attained Drops, Beter Farming and Synth offer a mix of farming options for mob drops or crops/harvesting range.

Notice: many mods were tried, tested and either didn't fit the pack as had alternatives, didn't meet the RAM requirements I was going for due to how much content they added and how big the pack was getting, or were awkward to fit in (like Bionisation 4 due to it's potion effects, creeper explosion (among other mob ones), bleeding and more being a challenge and didn't want to offer that in the base experience, but if you want a challenge and more blocks/items to play with I'd say go for it).

Other mods considered were the Cold Sweat and Body Hygiene mod to offer more temperature/other aspects but those were removed too.

Mods like L2Backpack add some fair features but L2Library with L2Backpack with some RPG like stats also adds more to offer.

Brief:

Bionisation 4, Cold Sweat, Body Hygiene mods if want to have a bit more challenge.

I also recommend adding Krystal Craft if want a bit more with tools and to offer raw versions of Redstone and other ores to change things up there too.
