Aster's Enigma

You will always receive double damage from all sources.

Neutral creatures will be driven to madness in your presence, and will make every attempt to end your miserable existence. This curse can be partially alleviated by The Guide to Animal Companionship.

Armour is 30% less protective.

Any mob considered a monster will receive 50% less damage from all of your attacks. This curse can be alleviated with The Twist, which will always deal full damage.

If you catch on fire, you will eternally burn until extinguished with water.

Every death tears your soul apart, leaving behind a soul crystal. Your maximum health will be cut by 10% until the soul crystal is retrieved at your point of death. If you cannot find your soul crystal, the Waypoint of the Damned will offer some assistance.

And, you will suffer from incurable insomnia, doomed to attract great swarms of phantoms and lie awake through every night.

However, there is a motivation to undergo such a difficult life... a motivation beyond challenge and bragging rights, as seven blessings will reward those who withstand the curses:

You will be blessed with a permanent extra looting Level of one. You will always have an extra level of fortune. All experience you generate will appear in quadruple the normal amount. Any enchantment tables you use will have an additional 10 power. You will have permanent access to an Ender Chest in your inventory. Unique drops from some creatures you ean create and use unique relics
