Description

This modpack is a stripped out, performance only variant of my other Lightly Salted modpack. It takes all of the performance enhancing mods like Ferrite Core, Lithium, Entity Culling and more to make this pack ready to run on Valve's Steam Deck or even a low power desktop/laptop computer.

Other mods like Controlify add controller support. With Crafting Tweaks added as well, this makes navigating the crafting table via a controller just a bit easier.

Other quality of life mods from Lightly Salted that did not add extra graphical burden are present such as Shulker Box Tooltip, Appleskin, Journeymap, and Chat Heads.

On modpack version 1.21.11 v1.0 with the modpack's default video settings:

Note: VSYNC was disabled and max FPS was set to Unlimited for testing.

~80fps average on an Amplified Generation server world with highs of 90fps and lows of 45fps. ~50fps average on a Normal Generation singleplayer world with highs of 60fps and lows of 26fps. The low-spec laptop this was tested on was an HP ProBook 450 G1 (2013 model) equipped with the following:

  • Sata SSD
  • Intel i5-4200M @2.5GHz (2 cores, 4 threads)
  • Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
  • 2x8 (16GB) DDR3 SODIMM
  • Windows 10
